Dental Radiography at Pets4Life Animal Hospital Highland Park

‍What Is a Dental Radiograph?‍

Dental radiographs are done to ensure a complete and thorough dental cleaning. Often even when the visible crown of the tooth appears normal, dental radiographs can reveal problems with the root below the surface.  Once dental radiographs have been performed, our veterinarian review them and decide what treatment, if any, is required for each tooth.  At Pets4Life Animal Hospital, all dog and cat dental cleanings include a full mouth radiograph.

Is Dental Radiology Painful or Harmful to My Pet?

Dental radiographs are a completely painless procedure.  Dental radiographs are safer than ever for pets and humans alike, with minimal exposure to radiation.
